CYBERFORT Consortia is pleased to announce Cybersecurity Conference entitled: “CRA EUROPE 2026 – CYBER RESILIENCE IN ACTION”, which was held on 4th of March 2026, in Bucharest, Romania, at the Romanian Parliament. The European Cybersecurity Conference focused on the practical implementation of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and its impact on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), public authorities, and critical sectors.

CYBERFORT CONSORTIUM SUCCESSFULLY ORGANIZED THE 2nd GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING

The CYBERFORT Consortium successfully organized the 2nd General Assembly Meeting (GA) on 3rd of February 2026, which took place at the EXIMPROD ENGINEERING Offices, in Bucharest, Romania, with the option to participate online. The objectives of the Strengthening Cyber Defenses of SMEs for Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) Compliance Project are: aiming to simplify the process of CRA compliance for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs); enhancing the efficiency of compliance documentation processes through automation. The Project is delivering training to elevate the cybersecurity knowledge and practices among SMEs; ensuring the tools evolve in response to new cybersecurity challenges and feedback from users; and fostering collaborations with cybersecurity networks and initiatives across Europe.

CYBERFORT QUALITY MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORK

The CYBERFORT Consortium successfully submitted the Project Quality, Risk Assessment, Research, Control & Innovation Management Plan, a key strategic document that ensures all project activities are executed at the highest quality standards, with robust risk monitoring and a strong focus on innovation. This deliverable is an essential tool in the project’s internal governance and supports CYBERFORT’s wider mission: to equip European SMEs with trusted, open-source cybersecurity solutions that meet the requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). Funded by the European Commission under the Digital Europe Programme, the project brings together expert partners from Romania, Cyprus, and Greece to ensure secure, compliant, and impactful results.

CYBERFORT Representatives actively participated at the Comply.Land Event organized on 11-12 September 2025, in St. Julian’s, Malta. CYBERFORT Project was presented in the Workshop Session entitled: “Making CRA Compliance Work: Tools and Support for SMEs”. I-ENERGYLINK REPRESENTATIVES ACTIVELY CONTRIBUTED TO THE CYBERSTAND ANNUAL EVENT ON IMPACTING CRA: DEFINING STANDARDS FOR THE FUTURE

I-ENERGYLINK representatives had an active participation in the CYBERSTAND.eu Project Annual Event titled “Impacting CRA: Defining Standards for the Future.” The Event, taking place at a highly relevant moment for European Cybersecurity, brought together key stakeholders from industry, policy, standardisation bodies, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), and research communities to address the next phase of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) implementation. With Europe advancing from Horizontal Standards towards vertical, sector-specific standards, this gathering aims to align efforts and define clear pathways for future CRA-related standardisation. Over 140 delegates of which about 50 attended physically the CYBERSTAND Annual Event organized on 19th of June 2025, at the Autoworld Parc du Cinquantenaire in Brussels, and Online. The Agenda highlighted key topics such as: Vision for a Cyber-Resilient Single Market; CRA Status, Implementation, and Next Steps; Essential Requirements of the CRA; Pathways to Compliance; Navigating CRA Compliance: Support Initiatives and Resources; Product Specific Standards; The CRA and Challenges for SMEs; and Risk Management and Assessment.
